Newborns through approximately age 1
Loving volunteers provide quality childcare for infants during the 9:00am and 10:45am Sunday morning services. We use a “Call For Care” alert system so you can rest assured that we have a way to call for you during the service. You will find us to the left of the sanctuary doors as you enter the church building. Please label your child’s diaper bag, sign them in, blow a kiss, and rest assured that your little one will be fine while you enjoy worship just a few steps away.
Approximately ages 1 through 3
Our rooms are filled with age-appropriate toys and other items which encourage imaginative, cooperative play. You can find us in classrooms 3 and 4 of Kids’ Cove (the building to the right of the church). Our background-checked volunteers include parents, grandparents and others in the Hope Chapel family. Toddler Town is also equipped with a “Call For Care” alert system so you can rest assured we have a way to call for you if we need you during the service. Please label your child’s diaper bag, sign them in, give a hug, and rest assured that your toddler will be just fine while you enjoy the worship and teaching next door.
Preschool through 5th grade
Children’s Chapel takes place on Sundays during both worship services in the house next door to the main church building called “Kids Cove.” After being securely checked in to Kids Cove, the children:
Students receive “Bible Bucks” and they go “shopping” with their Bible Bucks on the last Sunday of the month for fun prizes. Bible Bucks are awarded for (1) bringing their Bible to Children’s Chapel; (2) reciting the memory verse some time during the morning; (3) answering questions and participating during lessons; and (4) bringing back their Home Bible Reading Logs on Sundays.
Just for 6th to 8th graders
Hope Chapel’s “tweens” are invited upstairs to “The Reach” (above the sanctuary) during the 1st service. Hope Chapel’s junior high ministry team welcomes this opportunity to pour into this energetic age-group on Sunday mornings, in addition to Wednesday evenings. We utilize a relevant, interactive curriculum from Hillsong Church in Australia. On the first Sundays of the month our Apostles sit with their parents for the entire worship service, in order to help them transition into our adult worship services when they are teenagers.
At Hope Chapel we believe every student is wonderfully made by God! So if your child has unique educational or developmental needs, please contact our Children’s Pastor to help us know how to better teach your child. Particularly if your child has an Individualized Education Plan in place at his/her school, we would like to support that plan during Sunday School as well.
